Terms of Service

These cover using this site, buying our eBooks, and holding a membership. Plain language — but they're the agreement between you and us, so please read them.

01

Who we are & agreeing to these terms

The Book of Peptides is an Australian-based digital publisher. By creating an account, buying an eBook, or starting a membership, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the service.

02

What we sell

Two things, both fully digital — nothing physical ships:

  • eBooks — individually licensed, one-time purchases you download and keep.
  • Membership — a recurring subscription that unlocks the full interactive reference and reading library.
03

Membership (recurring subscription)

Membership renews automatically — monthly or annually, whichever you choose — until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account.

When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be billed again after that. We don't pro-rate or refund partial periods. If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it and pause access until it's resolved.

04

eBook licences

Buying an eBook grants you a personal, non-transferable licenceto download and read it for your own use. You're welcome to keep your copy, but please don't redistribute, resell, upload, or publicly share the files.

Because downloads are delivered immediately, eBook sales are generally final — but this doesn't affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (see §09). If something's wrong with your file, email us and we'll make it right.

05

Educational content — not medical advice

Everything here is educational and harm-reduction information, not medical advice. We are not your doctor, and nothing on this site is a diagnosis, a prescription, or a recommendation to use any compound.

Laws on research compounds vary by country and state — it's your responsibility to know and follow the ones that apply to you. Speak with a qualified healthcare professional before acting on anything you read here.

06

Assumption of risk

You use this information at your own risk. Any decisions you make about any compound are yours alone. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for outcomes arising from how you choose to use the content.

07

Acceptable use

  • Don't share, scrape, resell, or republish our content, or share your account access.
  • Don't try to break, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the site.
  • Don't use the service for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

08

Intellectual property

The text, data, research, illustrations, and design are ours (or licensed to us) and protected by copyright. Your licence to read doesn't transfer any ownership of that work.

09

Refunds & your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which can't be excluded. If a product is faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a remedy. For any membership or download issue, email us first — we'd much rather sort it out directly.

10

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is.”We work hard on accuracy and fact-check adversarially, but we don't warrant the content is complete or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law — and without limiting the Australian Consumer Law rights above — our liability to you is limited.

11

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Australian courts.

12

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify account holders. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
